Haven't been here in a while, well anywho what I made. 2012 was a relatively unproductive year for me artwise, hope to change that for 2013.

Memory Lane

Been going though some of my old stuff, looking for ideas, so many characters I want to revisit, so many stories I want to draw out. They're a lot of mistakes with these old ones know doubt, but a lot of them were great stepping stones for me.

Made this as part of the prologue for my comic project, but I'm having lots of trouble figuring out how to draw out the opening, while I do like this page, it does capture what I need of the opening. I think I'll have to do a billion thumbnails before I find one that fits, luckily this is a page that will be of use a little later in the story.

Shahal Character concept # 1

My scanner hates light blue, and always scans it funky. Oh well. Anyway this is Shahal, from my story idea called, Pilgrimage. About a man (Shahal) who swallowed an evil Djinn and must go to a floating city in order to purge himself of it.

I really wanted to get better with water colors so now I'm trying to see what they will look like if I don't ink them with pen first, just from pencil to water color. This is the pencil ver. backed up in case I mess up.

So my friend and I have decided to take another crack our comic, Legacy, which is a bit of an epic, so for some motivation here are some sketches for it.

The life of Mr. Fancy-Hat

I am developing a collect of animated story books surround a character named Mr. Fancy-Hat.

“The Wonderful Mr. Fancy-hat” is an idea for a series of shorts set to my favorite pieces of classical music, and narration. The story centers around a magician, Mr. Fancy-hat, and his attempts to win the heart of a girl named Lily. A long the way he picks up a few friends, a mischievous rat named “Ponzetta Di Mousey” a.k.a "Ponzi" and his side kick an enchanted coat rack, "Mr. Sophistico". In addition to trying to court his maiden he must contend with his bitter rival Mr. Bloodstone.
